Ku Kahi Wins 2007 Hawaii Music Awards for Traditional Hawaiian Music and New Artist of the Year
Faith's album, Ku Kahi, has won the "Traditional Hawaiian Music" category in the 11th Annual Hawaii Music Awards. Voting occurred during January, 2008, and the winners were announced on February 4, 2008. All award winners recieved their awards on Saturday March 15, 2008, at the Hawaii Music Awards Foundation Banquet Ceremony in Honolulu at The Willows Restaraunt.

Faith also won the category "New Artist of the Year," but didn't know in advance of the presentation. Faith sends a big mahalo to all of you who voted and continue to support her music. Ako knew when she flew in from California that her self-titled album had won Traditional Hawaiian Album, but did not discover until she went up to get her trophy that she had won Best New Artist as well."

Ku Kahi Album Nominated by Na Hoku Hanohano Awards Organization
In May, 2008, all winners for all categories were announced in The Honolulu Advertiser and on their web site. A big "mahalo" to the Na Hoku Hanohano Board Commitee and Hawaii Academy Recording Artists (HARA) Organization for being recognized and nominated for this honor.
