Oh my what a great group of ukulele strummers, instructors and aloha everywhere!
Had a funtastic time in my workshops of over 200 people, interested in Hawaiian music on the ukulele, the history and language of the islands.
I was blown away by the attendance and support by the vendors, The Nuggett Hotel, Instructors and Performers, most of all the attendees
Mahalo piha to Doug Reynolds, a wonderful weekend of aloha all around, a nice drive up to Reno too! (photos/video coming soon)

What a fantastic, enthusiastic, exciting group of musically talented and smart elementary students, grades K-3 that I got to meet in Boston! All 400 of them, oh yes as I shared their passion for the ukulele. The questions they asked about the hula implements, the stories behind the art of hula to the making of the ukulele? Very smart little intellectual ones I might add, I enjoyed them immensely daily with their smiles, constant shifting of restlessness around each other on the cafeteria floor.
